The 2025 Batch A Stream 1 Corps Members who served in Rivers State have been told to make use of their head and hands to push themselves to greatness by creating positive ideas.
Rivers State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe stated this tuesday at the Isaac Boro park, Port Harcourt in an address to the Corps Members who had concluded their mandatory one year National Service.
He advised them to make good use of the skill acquired through the SAED programme and not to wait for white-collar jobs.
Mr Oleghe commended them for the positive impacts their host community, assuring them that their sacrifices would not be in vain.
He urged them to stay back in the state and explore its huge marketplace and economic potentials.
The Rivers Nysc Coordinator charged them to remain focused and committed to the ideals and values of the NYSC Scheme by being nation builders at all times.
A total of 2,970 Corps Members passed out, which included 1,093 males and 1,673 females.
Out of the number, 14 persons had their serve extended, 13 a remobilized , and would repeat the service year while 3 corps members died during the service year.
