NYSC AT 53, a success story... Oleghe

The State Coordinator NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe has said that Nigerians are proud of the milestones achieved by the Scheme in it's 53 years of existence and wouldn't have wished for anything better.

Mr Oleghe stated this friday during a brief but colorful ceremony to mark the Scheme's 53rd anniversary which included a road walk from the State secretariat, Mile 1 through Ikwerre road and taking a detour at Ikoku flyover amidst heavy downpour.

Addressing a mammoth crowd of staff and Corps Members after the road walk, the State Coordinator who defied the heavy rain congratulated the DG NYSC, Brig-Gen O. O Nafiu, members of top management, staff and Corps Members and wished the Scheme greater heights and successes in the years ahead.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the anniversary cake, music by the electrifying NYSC band, as well as scintillating dance by staff and Corps Members as DJ Rex blared music of yesteryears and contemporary vibes that triggered endless joy amongst the Corps Members.

NYSC partners including John'vents chocolate and Peak Milk were on ground to provide refreshments for the Corps Members alongside the drinks and snacks provided by the State Coordinator.
