The State Coordinator, NYSC Rivers State, Mr. Moses Oleghe has described the work ethic of 2025 Batch A Stream II Corps Members who served
in Rivers State as impressive and highly commendable.
He disclosed this thursday when he monitored the low-key passing-out ceremony of the Corps Members at Port Harcourt City and Tai LGAs.
He used the occasion to appreciate the impactful contributions made in the lives of the people of the various host communities across the state in the areas of education, primary healthcare, agriculture, and rural infrastructure.
Mr. Oleghe urged them to continue to uphold the values of the NYSC in all they do in life, especially integrity, honesty, discipline, loyalty, and patriotism.
He said the above noble values will be achieved when they care and put humanity first in any space they find themselves irrespective of tribe, ethnicity, and religion.
A total of 2998 Corps Members comprising 1181 males and 1817 females completed the service year.
Out of the number, 2 will serve an extension of service, while 16 will repeat the service year.
Unfortunately, 1 Corps Member paid the supreme sacrifice in the course of service year.
