Corps Members have been told to promote Nigeria's rich cultural heritage with positive energy.
Rivers State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe stated this Saturday during the inter-platoon cultural carnival for 2026 Batch A Stream II Corps Members deployed to Rivers State.
He charged them to be shining lights in their host communities and preach peace, unity, tolerance, understanding, and mutual cooperation amongst citizens irrespective of cultural differences, tribe and religion.
Mr. Oleghe said if the educated and elite youths like Corps Members commit themselves to promoting the cultural heritage of the country, it could become one of the nation's top earner as export resource.
At the end of the inter-platoon cultural carnival competition, 6 platoon came 1st, 5 platoon 2nd, and 2 platoon 3rd.
The inter-platoon cultural carnival was sponsored by Peak Milk with the winners awarded cash prize of #100000.00 while the 1st and 2nd runner-ups got #50000.00 prize each.
